A nitrous oxide system is the quickest way to add large amounts of horsepower. However, an improperly tuned or installed system may also lead to major engine damage. The great benefit of our in house Chassis Dyno is that we can tune a safe air fuel ratio and timing so you have no worries when you hit the go button! This will also verify that the nitrous installation is producing the expected gains. We can sell you a kit and provide technical advice regarding installation. After the kit is installed, we recommend a custom tune.

Some of our applications even use nitrous oxide injection along with a supercharger! Needless to say this makes tremendous horsepower and the nitrous also effectively cools the intake charge. Over 700 rear wheel horsepower with a mild cam and good street manners can be achieved with a small block motor.  Over 1000rwhp is available with a small block race setup and even more with a big block. Obviously a high-capacity fuel system, and a stout motor and drive train is needed to utilize such a "dual power-adder" system. We can provide a setup designed to stand up to this kind of abuse.

Nitrous Controllers

There are a number of ways to control nitrous oxide. The simplest method is the use of a wide open throttle (WOT) switch. This will suffice for a relatively small nitrous "shot". A window switch may also be useful for certain applications. Increasing amounts of nitrous will require either a staged system or a computerized controller. The most powerful and flexible method is to use the Electromotive TEC3 . We can set you up with a nitrous system tailored to your needs. A variety of other controllers are available depending on your needs. We also recommend a Hobbs switch, also called a  fuel pressure safety switch (FPSS) in most applications.
