1993 Mustang LX Coupe supercharged street strip car 11,626 miles General description This car has 11,626 miles and is set up for street/strip use. The technical details follow, but in general it is a very clean car with original paint. All the work has been professionally performed to a very high standard. The car easily runs in the mid to high 10’s at ~125mph at the local drag strip. It is not currently registered for street use, but is perfectly streetable. The car makes 489ft-lbs and 454hp at the rear wheels with a safe street tune on pump 93 octane. Maximum power is at a street friendly 5,000rpm. The torque curve is virtually flat from 2,000 to 5,100rpm with 13.5 psi of blower pressure at a conservative, safe 10.5:1 air fuel ratio.

Black/black, rear seat deleted, upholstered fiberglass buckets with six point harness, original carpeting, has original gauges plus Autometer memory tach, electronic shift light, NX nitrous pressure gauge, Kenne Bell 2-gauge pillar mount with fuel pressure and boost gauges. 6-point bolt roll bar professionally installed. Welded subframe connectors, drive shaft loop, Lakewood 90/10 front struts, Maximum Motorsports lower control arms with adjustable spring perches, Maximum Motorsports adjustable upper control arms. Wheels are Weld Draglite’s with new (3 passes) Hoosier QT Pros 26x10.5”, fronts are Mickey Thompson ET fronts 26x4.5”. The A/C has been removed but the parts are included. Power steering is deleted and replaced with a Flaming River rack and pinion. Engine We only have general information about some of the engine components. We bought the car from a friend, who had the engine work done out of town and recently went through a divorce, which lead to lost/misplaced paperwork. But we are sure of the following: the block is an OEM 5.0 block. The crank rods and pistons are all forged pieces (rods and crank are Eagle or Scat, we don’t know the piston brand but they are forged blower pistons). The heads are Twisted Wedge and have been professionally Stage III ported. The cam is a custom hydraulic roller cam designed for the Kenne Bell supercharger. It has headers and an open exhaust but pro-dump mufflers are included. Induction The supercharger is a KenneBell 2.2 with a Blowzilla/Flowzilla combination. The lower manifold is a Ford GT 40. The throttle body is a 90mm Accufab and there is a matching mass air meter with Pro M electronics. A Kennedy’s Dynotune custom water/methanol injection system is installed and has been calibrated on the chassis dyno. There is an NX wet nitrous system that has been tested but never used on the track or street. There is a 10lb nitrous bottle with warmer and the system is good for up to a 150hp shot. 100hp jets are currently installed. Ignition/Fuel Injection There are 42lb/h injectors with a 255lph in tank pump. Ford ignition with an MSD coil and a Kenne Bell Boost-a-Pump. There is a custom dyno tune by Kennedy’s Dynotune. Drive Train/Transmission The clutch is a Ram 9000 single disc with adjustable base pressure. The transmission is the awesome Lenco ST 1200 4-speed with a Lenco shifter. It is rated to 1,200hp, so in this application it is virtually bullet proof. It can be driven clutchless at the strip or with the clutch for smooth street shifts. You will never outgrow this transmission. An aftermarket steel race drive shaft is installed. There is a street friendly but track capable 3.55:1 Trak-Lock differential.
